I've been trying for a while to get headset and mic to work with discord with mixed results. What kind of headset do you guys use? Can you recommend any? I wear glasses and most headsets I've tried hurts after an hour or so.

I'm interested in perhaps getting https://www.elgiganten.se/product/ljud-hifi/horlurar/PLATTANIIBTGY/urbanears-plattan-ii-tradlosa-on-ear-horlurar-gra
anyone tried those?

Finally, what button/combination do you use for push-to-talk?

I have the Razer Krakens with the rainbow lights (because I'm fanceeey 💅), which are better with glasses than any previous headset/headphone combo I've used.

and I tend to use the mute on that rather than push-to-talk... I'd probably end up muted and talking to myself even more if I had to rely on a keybind 😬

Those krakens look really fancy, would probably look great in my fancy computer room :-) Is the the wireless or corded one you use?

Corded. My only complaint is that the cord tends to spontaneously coil up on itself, which limits my ability to scoot away from the desk to pick up my wine.

I was also afraid it might eventually end up damaging the wire inside, but they've lasted about three years now under heavy usage so that's not so bad!

Ah OK, I definitely would want a cordless headset.

I use Steelseries Arctis 7, good bit of kit. Find them comfortable, good build quality. They're Bluetooth, never had tech issues and sound both ends has been good. Also a glasses wearer and they sit comfortably - think they were a bit over the £100 mark when I got them.

If you have a store near you that has them would recommend trying several pairs out and see what feels/sounds best. Some GAME stores in UK have headphones out for trying which is what I did, then bought cheaper elsewhere. Obviously depends whats in your area/country.

Tried the headset at Onyxia yesterday and while they felt comfortable in the beginning, it was bloody painful on the ears after an hour or so.

Next up I'm going to try some true-wirelsess (like Samsung Gear or Airpods).

I only use the mic of my headset and use the speakers for audio. I just hang the headset around my neck. No pain in the ears! :)
